Langney Primary Academy in Eastbourne was the latest venue for our Drug of Art x Michael Aldrich Foundation workshops.
Led by artist and experienced art facilitator Gina Leonard, sixty five students from Year 5 explored abstract art, learning to use view finders and developing their drawing skills in charcoal and chalk pastels along the way.
Gina is keen to reinforce to her students that art is for everyone:
“something as simple as a pen and paper can be the start of a great piece of work..and something you can lose yourself in, a good escape from day to day worries”.
